Your Health
How
much is your health worth? People
are spending billions of dollars each year to stay healthy and feel
younger. Despite high-tech medical advances, society is experiencing
an alarming decline in health.
Unprecedented exposure to chemical contaminants, pollution, toxic
products and stress has increased unhealthy conditions, from arthritis
and cancer to heart disease, and even the symptoms of aging. You
can learn how to protect yourself from the forces that can damage
your body and wear down your immune system.
On
any given day, 46% of us do not eat even one fruit, 24% have not
had any dairy products, and 18% have not eaten even one vegetable.
Only half the calories consumed by the average person come from
wholesome, minimally altered foods, like vegetables and fruits,
whole grains, extra-lean meats and legumes, and low-fat milk and
milk products. The rest come from sugar, white flour, and fat.
Even
if you do try to "eat right" and get all the nutrition
you need strictly from food you'll often find our food supply nutritionally
lacking. The soil in which fruits and vegetables grow has been overworked,
overdeveloped, and nutrient-depleted. For example, according to
the United States Department of Agriculture, it takes as many as
75 bowls of spinach grown today to deliver the same amount of iron
in one bowl of spinach grown in 1948. Plus, in addition to soil
conditions, many of the foods you eat today have been chemically
processed and preserved - causing them to lose even more vital nutrients.
"Fresh" fruits and vegetables are often harvested while
they're still green - and they never get the chance to fully ripen.
Vitamin content is further reduced in many foods by long-term storage,
drying, blanching, freezing, and pasteurizing.
The Wellness
Industry – It’s a Revolution
There
are many aspects of Wellness that are driving the Wellness Industry
to become the next trillion dollar industry. Baby Boomers turning
50 at a rate of 10,000 a day all wanting to stay young in physical
health and appearance is just one of a number of major factors causing
explosive growth in wellness related goods and services.
Millions of people born after
the baby boom are growing up in a world where preserving the environment
is a not just a cause but expected. Concern about our health, proper
nutrition and disease prevention are becoming routine topics of
discussion amongst friends at work, at the gym and in every aspect
of the media.
Virtually
everyone from all age groups has to be concerned by the state of
healthcare and benefits that are dwindling. The aging population
will obviously put a strain on healthcare costs that will put basic
medical insurance out of the reach of millions of people.
Financial Wellness too, or
the desire for it is driving people by the millions to start their
own businesses, create multiple streams of income and seek superior
investments to take control of their own financial future. As we
go forward few will rely on the government or lifelong employment
to allow them to retire in the lifestyle they have become accustomed
to.
We live in a world where
a Wellness Revolution is taking place. A Revolution is not merely
a trend or passing fad but a change in history from that point forward.
A shift in widely held ideas and practices that will forever replace
the old paradigms. Think of how the automobile revolutionized transportation
or how the computer ushered in a new era of an information technology
based economy. These were two previous revolutions that took place
in the last century that have become trillion dollar industries
and indeed have changed our lives. And not just a few lives but
societies and countries the world over have been impacted by these
revolutions.
Well,
now we stand at the forefront of the next revolution that will significantly
impact our lives. In fact it is already having a profound impact
everywhere you look. The Wellness industry currently represents
some $250 Billion in annual sales of goods and service that will
likely become a trillion dollar industry sometime this decade. Most
experts agree. Almost all economists, demographers and futurists
are predicting unprecedented growth in the Wellness Industry in
just the next few years alone.
The question is. How will
you take capitalize on and benefit financially from this enormous
growth in the wellness industry? Our wellness team have developed
a plan that anyone can follow, working from home, even just a few
hours a week and succeed by helping others achieve their physical
and financial wellness goals.
